The AGC and MSP crews working on the CGP2 project for Talison Lithium in Greenbushes recently donated a combined $12,000 to a charity of their choice as part of the Six Week Crunch Challenge.

The incentive scheme was designed as a way for the teams to keep on track during the busy pre-Christmas period and was successfully completed with all targets met safely. The workforce selected the Children’s Leukaemia & Cancer Research Foundation as recipient of this donation, in support of children battling cancer.

Attended by AGC Chief Operating Officer Daniel Kennedy and Senior Project Manager Peter Davis on behalf of AGC, the presentation of the cheque was held at MSP’s West Perth office. They heard from one of the Foundation’s ambassadors, Georgia, who shared her story with the group.

The foundation said that corporate donations like this are so important in helping them continue the ground-breaking research into childhood cancers.
