Nickel Smelter Shutdown Contract Award

AusGroup have been awarded the shutdown remediation works to the waste heat boiler and lurgi at a Nickel Smelter plant in WA. The turn-key contract works include:

– Pre-planning and work packing
– Confined space statutory inspections
– Fabrication, installations and close out

The fabrication associated for this project will be undertaken at AusGroup Kwinana Operations and AusGroup will secure 108 personnel for the onsite shutdown execution of mixed blue collar trades and white collar roles.

The 19-day shutdown will occur in October 2022.
