Nyrstar Zinc Works – Shutdown, Refractory and Associated Works

AGC was selected as Nyrstar’s refractory and scaffolding contractor for its 2014 and 2017 Major Turnarounds. Our specialist team worked with Nyrstar during the planning phase to refine the turnaround scope and schedule. During the turnarounds, AGC’s scope of work involved repairs to the refractory and associated mechanical components of the roaster and waste heat boiler. This included provision of multidiscipline services, refractory, scaffolding, steel shell repairs and cleaning services.
